In December 2020, when we finished the rehabilitation works of the house, we had a very special photo session with the architectural photographer Milena Villalba.
We thought that the producers from Los Pedrones should appear in the report of our house, as with their work and excellent products, they keep the village alive.
We were lucky to have them, the true hosts of Villa Serrano.
Silvia, Ben, and their children Samuel and Pol, the French and Spanish Dussart Pedrón family. They posed in the living room of Villa Serrano with their wines: Le Rosé, Le Grenache, Le Bobal, and Le Cencibel.
The Dussart-Pedrón winery focuses on making high-quality wine, with special care in the work of the vineyards and a careful but minimally invasive production process.
Their wines have been highly rated, between 91 and 93 points, in specialized guides such as the Peñín Guide and Robert Parker.

* Hoya de la Iglesia Cheese Factory *
The Roldán brothers, founders of the Hoya de La Iglesia cheese factory, located in the upper neighborhood of our village, produce artisanal shepherd’s goat cheese and other high-quality dairy products.
Made with goat milk from their own farm, which is located 4 km from the core of Los Pedrones, in the Hoya de la Iglesia area. Their cheeses have been recognized with numerous awards for their great quality and flavor, such as “the four-point cheese,” or “El Pedrón.”
Moisés, the baker from the traditional oven of Carmen, visited us early in the morning. In addition to freshly baked bread, you can find authentic traditional delicacies: bollo, ensaimadas, croissants, or sweet batata cakes.
They make custom orders, such as large buns with sausage, or the delicious cream and truffle ensaimada (usually with one day’s notice).
* Vito Butchery and Groceries *
Margarita and Richard master the making of traditional sausages, we put a red light in our hallway so that their meats and sausages would shine like in a showcase.
